here's a challenge for you (BTW, thanks for following my blog)...I was in a car accident 1 yr ago. I've had two major reconstructions to my knee in the past year. Pretty painful and at one point I was immobile for 5 mos. I've always been VERY active, 5'4" tall, about 125-130lbs. I gained about 15 lbs in a year and feel like crapola! I am in PT 4 days a week still...the knee is finally flexing, I'm finally off crutches but in a brace. Very painful still and I am now getting on a treadmill (so darned slow I feel like a turtle) re-learning how to walk. ISsue is---I need a good food plan since I can't be superwoman in the gym...yet. It's hard to burn when I can't stay on a machine long enough without almost passing out from pain. I have massive scar tissue and joint issues so I have to take it slow. Still can't climb stairs. Quads are shot but I'm working hard!
Should I go all protein? I don't want anything complicated. I'm a Mom of 5 and I've got to have easy because I've NEVER had to diet before!! UGH!
